Floorplan

Here is  a sketch with rough measurements of the current floor plan. You can see we have combined the dining room and kitchen to create one large kitchen space from front to back of the home. We also have removed the wall with the two fireplaces that separated the living room and family room to create a large living space which will allow views of the backyard from the entire space.

The new space will include the kitchen area, our family room, and eating area looking over the backyard.  The original owners had a pool in the backyard, but removed it 2 years ago due to leaks.  We would like to put one in again soon!

We love fireplaces, so we will put a new wall in for the stone fireplace that runs from front to back of the home and vault the ceiling in that area. The kitchen space will be an 8 foot ceiling with a tray over the wide island.

We decided to put the home theater in the basement and use the upstairs office spaces for a gameroom/study zone for the boys. The two offices that are attached to the larger space will become Jeff’s home office and a lovely guest room.
