We visited with the custom cabinet maker on Tuesday evening. Wow! What gorgeous work he does! We drove to his shop and saw several projects underway. One was for a home with 14 different color cabinets and multiple styles. Lovely work.
We were able to choose the door style we liked very quickly, but the stain color was more difficult. He’s actually making samples that are in between the two shades we liked best to drop off for us to review today. Can’t wait to see them!
They will be a stained wood flat panel thicker style door with eased corners. Medium color stain. We loved the blue color, but we want a stained cabinet for the kitchen area. Maybe in one of the bathrooms?
The middle pull below is the one we selected for the drawers. I totally reversed myself on what I thought I wanted with this one! I originally thought we’d go with something to work with all the stainless that is in the kitchen, but decided it might be too distracting with all the knobs and pulls everywhere. We want the granite and cabinets to be the star.
This is one finish we liked, but felt might be too dark.
